ABOUT US

North Western District Rover crew has been going for a number of years, recruiting young scouters to take their next step in their scouting careers, as well as young individuals new to scouting.

In 2009, NWD had a "rebirth'' with young scouters from every troop in the district joining the crew. This made running events for the scouts very easy and plenty of fun as we were all there to be with our scouts, our fellow rovers, and good friends. The Crew had grown from 5 members to 20 in the space of a year and it became time to focus on training and advancing our squires to get them invested as Rovers.

In 2014 we as a crew decided to split up into two crews as we had gotten far too big and it seemed easier to focus on service in a smaller group.

The crew now has after a difficult few years a fully invested Crew council who mentors the crew and guides them through their personal advancements and growth into adult life. North West District Rover Crew thrives on the opportunity to help those in need and assist troops and packs when they call. Our crew lives for the Rovers' Motto of ''Service'' and will always have community service projects in the pipeline.

We hope you will enjoy looking around our website, learning about what we do, and ultimately becoming involved as a member or sponsor to one of our numerous ongoing projects.
